How To Add 5 Team Members
in One Month!



How to add 5 beautiful and excited team members yet this month and earn a GOLD MEDAL,
do ALL these things this month!

1- Commit, orally and on paper.

a. To your Director and sister consultants.....Announce that you will earn a Gold Medal this month. Does anyone want to run with you?
  b. To your Family.....Tell your family you will working very focused on a goal and are counting on their support and help by telling you often, "YOU CAN DO IT!"
   c. Write memos all over your house, in your car:  "Gold medal in (Month)!"  "5 beautiful team members in (Month)"

2- Know why you are doing it.
How will it benefit your business, your confidence, your progress?  Where are you going?

How it will benefit other women - many want to be home for their families, have more control over their lives, leave a job they hate, have more money, be able to give things to their families like college educations, special vacations, etc.

3- The best prospects are those who you have facialed.
   a- Every day, book at least 2 new sharp women.  " I would love to offer you a complimentary facial!" 
   b- Before you start her facial, tell her that she is so sharp, you would love to work with her.  "Watch what I do, and see if you might enjoy having your own business."
   c- Interview her right after the facial- or for sure get her booked to listen!  Do this until you have recruited 5!

4- Existing customers are perfect; they like the product, like you, and know what you do.
a- "I am now becoming a............with Mary Kay and am hand-picking the women I want to come with me.  I have chosen YOU!  I think you will be wonderful.  Let's get together and at least talk about it.  There is a free lipstick in it for you."
   b- "Judy, we have a special program at meeting this week I know you would love. Please come. You may even see how much fun we have and want to be part of our Company.  I think you'd be great!"

5- Work with the numbers.
   a- Interview 20 to sign 5.  Your expertise grows with your experience.
   b- Bring guests to everything.  Ask 10 to bring 1.  4 will say yes, and by 5 PM of the day, you will be down to 1. (Normal stuff!)  Pick her up!
   c- Have a long prospect list.  Add to it.  Work on many at once.  Make a star for every recruit. 

6- Have a sense of urgency.  What's in it for her to come in now? Figure 3 reasons for each prospect and tell her. 
   a- Most possible team members want to be convinced. They are afraid and want you to tell them it will be OK to spend $100 to try something new and different!
   b- Do not take NO personally.  Go on with a smile and a sense of destiny.  THIS WILL GET DONE!
   c- Be a duck who swims gracefully around with a smile, even when it rains.  Under the water she is paddling like crazy!  You are the most positive, committed person in Mary Kay!

7-Visualize what you will do with your 13% bonus "LOVE" check every month plus a new FREE Pontiac VIBE Career Car, or the cash compensation ($375/month instead of the career car)
Use it for something special for your family.
Start a rainy day retirment or emergency savings account.
Save it for a new home downpayment or furniture for your home, etc.
Plan a special trip or cruise for later this year paid for in full by your sharing bonuses!

Enjoy the great feeling of accomplishment on the last day of the month when you can say,
"I DID IT! I earned my GOLD MEDAL!"

HOW CAN WE SOAR?


S-Sell
Our career will soar when we sell! Sell the products and sell the career opportunity. We can sell both at skin care classes and makeovers.
O-Overcome
We will begin to soar when we overcome personal hang-ups, and when we learn to overcome customer objections when we are booking, or closing a sale, or interviewing.
A-Attitude
To soar we must have a positive asking attitude. We must be positive about our career, our products and our opportunity. We must have a positive asking attitude about booking, selling and recruiting!
R-Recruit
Soaring to the top in your career cannot be done if you are not willing to step out and share the opportunity with others. Your personal recruits will make wind under your wings and take you to the top! Share! Share! Share!













WHY DO WE CONTINUE TO SCRATCH?

                       

S-Scared
(I'm scared of) We all have different fears that scare us. We must remember fear is false evidence appearing real! To overcome our fears, we must face them, and do the things we are scared of; by action we will overcome fear.
C-Can't
(I can't) We must take the word "can't" out of our vocabulary, if you think you can, you can. If you think you can't, you're right!
R-Reluctant
(I would but) Don't be reluctant to try. Step out of your comfort zone and stop holding yourself back. You will never know how high you can fly if you never give yourself the chance to try.
A-Attitude
(I could do better if) Get rid of negative attitudes. A negative attitude will keep us scratching forever!
T-Time
(I don't have time) We all have the same amount of time. We all have time for successful career if we will plan our work and work our plan. We must stop wasting time!
C-Conditional
(I will when) Conditions will never be perfect; we just must do it now!
H-Hang ups
(I have a hang-up about) Webster says, hang-ups (1) To delay: suspended or held up, (2) To become stuck or snagged so as to be immovable.

WHAT'S YOUR HANGUP? RECOGNIZE IT!! OVERCOME IT!!

_____Do I call my Weekly Accomplishments in each week to my Director?

_____Am I logging into www.bettiehicks.com regularly? Am I signing the guestbook and noting my accomplishments?!

_____Do I have appointments on my date book? Am I putting the product on 8-10 NEW FACES weekly?

_____Am I selling min. $600 new RETAIL weekly?

_____Am I investing min. 50% of my retail sales into a WHOLESALE ORDER monthly and shining as a STAR consult? What Star Level are you working towards this quarter?

_____Am I interviewing 4-6 personal Prospects weekly? Am I giving my "Did You Knows" to my Director for her Follow UP?

_____ Am I interviewing for STARS not just 'hobby/personal use' consultants?

_____ Am I looking "UP" for new recruit candidates? Am I approaching women that "intimidate" me ? I should be!

_____Do I bring my new team members to the next meeting to receive their kit and orientation packet and discussion with my Director?

____ Do I participate in the Conference Call Trainings? 9 pm Central

_____Do I have clear TEAM GOALS--Recruiting growth and min. $10,000 Team wholesale production goals?

_____Am I working with a Focus Folder?  ? At least a WEEKLY Plan sheet and DAILY 6 most important Things 'to do' list prepared before I go to bed. _____Am I working on accomplishing $100 POWERDAYS...and COMMITTING to the 90 DAY CYCLE of EXCELLENCE! Am I tracking these?

_____Am I accountable to my Director? Do I make Sunday Night or Monday calls to her? 817 689-8065

_____What are my strongest skills?

_____What skills do I need to master?

_____What tapes am I listening to?  What books am I reading?

_____What is my attitude---on a scale from 1-10, 1 being FABULOUS and 10 'it stinks', what would others say about me?  AM I an energy giver, a magnet, or a drainer? (make yourself a 'normal' sounding voice tel message and you will probably know) Are you listening to positive input?

_____What is the ONE habit you are ready to change?

_____Do you have a UNIT name, UNIT song, Personal Affirmation? What is each?   YOUR NEED ONE OF EACH!

_____Why would someone give you the leadership role over their Career Direction based on your devotion, work ethic, and success habits?

IF you can answer these questions positively, you are on your way!  IF you struggle or don't know the answers or meaning to some of these questions, I urge you to call ME Immediately!!!!!  The year ahead can be a powerful one for you, but if you don't get ON PURPOSE with your behavior, another 6 mos. will pass, and there you will be AGAIN... waiting, wondering!
